Olive Harvest 2020
Our olives are ripening, in the second week of November they will be ready and we will start their harvest, which will last for a few weeks. The process consists of laying the nets, shaking the branches / manual harvesting, first pruning, first cleaning and selection. As soon as the minimum quantities of about 200kg have been reached, we will take them to the mill where they will be squeezed, within a few hours we will have our oil in a special container where they will have to settle for about 3 months. In the meantime we will carry out the second pruning, to let the plants breathe and prepare them for the new season in the best form. We are anxiously awaiting, the quality of this year’s oil seems excellent, but many variables can still influence to determine the final outcome.
